Job Title: Concierge Representative

Job Summary:

The Concierge Representative serves as a member of the Patient Experience Program. Responsibilities include, supporting patients, visitors, staff and physicians with needed assistance and or guidance in identifying solutions or answers to patient experience inquiries. Rounds on acute patient care areas and intervenes or facilitates patients in assuring exceptional experiences. The Concierge Representative collaborates with all departments and staff to provide a focused approach in Service Delivery and reports to Administration.    

Essential Job Duties: 

  • Rounds on Acute nursing units throughout the shift, assisting patients/ significant others and staff in creating a positive patient experience and/or facilitating resolution to patient and family concerns.
  • Communicates with members of the health care team regarding any issues that require follow up or monitoring.
  • Provides patients with a forum in which they can freely communicate needs or concerns by making a “connection” with the patient and/or significant other.
  • Prepares and submits reports as requested in a timely manner.
  • Maintains current competencies as well as updated knowledge in specific area of practice.
  • Interviews all new inpatient admissions for patient portal registration and makes every effort to assist patients, families, and significant others to understand the benefits of the patient portal.
  • Registers patients into patient portal.
  • Serves as a member of the Patient Experience Program.
  • Serves as a role model for the Mission, Vision and Values of the organization and fulfills other job duties as requested within the scope of practice.

Job Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • High school Diploma or above
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Acute Care Setting
