General / Administrative Duties
• Accurately schedules patient appointments and clearly communicates appointment information to patient.
• Maintains medical records according to WRMG procedures.
• Assists in maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly appearance in the lobby and overall center throughout the day.
• Prepares assists and accurately completes all intake and outtake forms.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
• Conducts business in a service-oriented manner that is attentive and respectful of patients, visitors, and coworkers.
• Attends staff meetings and training as required.
• May assist with but is not limited to; clerical activities related to patient intake, data verification, office communications.
• Notate and chart effectively, ensuring patients information is correct and accurate.
• Coordinates with patient and hospital to schedule procedures as needed.
Clinical Duties
• Places patient in exam room for provider evaluation.
• Obtains medical history and verifies patient information.
• Takes vital signs and performs all ancillary tests appropriate to skill level and within the medical assistant scope of practice.
• Supports patient care delivery.
• Maintains and operates clinical equipment, including calibration and record keeping in accordance with current policy and procedures.
• Perform Medical Assistant skills check off with clinic provider to ensure quality and standards are maintained.
• Be an advocate for both employee and patient if the manager is unavailable.
Job Requirements:
• High school diploma
• MA Certification from a licensed medical assistant school
• 2 years of clinical experience preferred
